Clipsorium Tilecraft

Craft meets precision at Clipsorium Tilecraft.

An editorial school devoted to the quiet discipline of flawless tiling. We publish rigorous methods, not shortcuts.

Since 2018

Our Story

Clipsorium Tilecraft began as a small studio in San Francisco that produced step-by-step tiling guides for apprentices. Over six years we refined those guides into an entire editorial curriculum used by contractors, architects, and serious DIYers around the world. Every lesson is built on 25+ years of combined field experience.

Mission

We exist to raise the standard of tiling work. Our mission is to make every substrate decision, every cut, and every grout line teachable. We reject surface-level tutorials in favor of complete, repeatable systems.

Editorial Method

Every course follows the same asymmetric structure: clear hierarchy, measured language, diagram-first explanations, and extensive troubleshooting matrices.

01
Standards Document

We define the exact specification before any physical work begins.

02
Sequence Mapping

We break every project into ordered micro-actions with time and tolerance metrics.

03
Failure Analysis

Each method contains a full matrix of common defects and verified remedies.

Our Instructors

Industry veterans who still install tile every week. They bring real-site insight into every lesson.
